How HipKey Was Created

How HipKey was created to unlock tight hips, improve mobility, and eliminate lower back pain.

The Injury

After four straight days of surfing, tight hips led to lower back pain and muscle spasms. A heavy wipeout compressed my body, and ignoring the warning signs made it worse. By that night, I couldn’t walk.

The Long Road Back

Recovery started with 45–90 minutes of daily mobility work. Pilates improved strength and flexibility, but the pain kept returning. I was putting in the work, but not getting real results.

The Breakthrough

A specialist focused on hip tension release changed everything. In one session, the pain was gone. By the fourth session, surfing was possible again.

The Idea

Not everyone can afford $250/hour therapy. The mission became clear: build a tool that removes guesswork and works every time. HipKey was born in 2023.
